Question 1  What is SPF? How often should it be applied?

  • Answer SPF stands for Sun Protection Factor that protects your skin from UVB rays which causes sunburn. Not only does it protect you UVB rays, but it prevents skin discoloration, slow down development of wrinkles, premature aging skin, and reduces the appearance of facial red veins. SPF should be applied every day after you moisturize your skin. 

Question 2  Is it really necessary to exfoliate after a Brazilian wax?

  • Answer Yes it is very necessary! Exfoliating your vagina after a Brazilian wax helps prevent ingrown hairs. Start exfoliating 2-3 days after your wax. When you're in the shower and you're about to exfoliate, remember to exfoliate in a soft circular motion. After your done in the shower, pat dry the area so your skin can lock in the moisture. 

Question 3  What some things to look for to make sure my esthetician is being clean and sanitary? 

  • Answer When it Is time for your appointment, it is okay to take a look around to see if you're comfortable with the upkeep of the business. Look to see if the garbage is not ridiculously overflowing, windows are clean, robed/towels are clean, working area is clean, wax paper/sheets on the bed, bathroom is clean, and anything being put on your body is either out of a new package or seen being cleaned. If you're getting a wax, make sure he/she isn't double-dipping! If they are, please make sure you stop the service. 

Question 4  What is a home remedy to get rid of acne and scaring?

  • Answer Trying making a turmeric mask. Due to its anti-flammatory and antibacterial benefits, turmeric calms the skin, target your pores, reduce scaring, and prevent bacteria from spreading. All you need is organic turmeric, pure honey, yogurt, and organic apple cider vinegar. Mix those ingredients and apply to face after cleansing for 15 minutes, then rinse. l;
